DSC00415-hdrPastor Emmanuel Lamptey is the Pastor of ICC. He responded to the calling as a preacher of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in 1985, have his two years Theological Training at The Faith Fellowship Bible Institute in Accra, Ghana. He attended the Advanced Leadership Training at the Haggai Institute in Singapore.

He is the Apostle to the Victory Way Chapel, Sowutuom, Accra, Ghana and The International Community Church, Houston, TX. USA. He is a Pastor by calling, a motivational speaker,  a marriage counselor, a teacher of the word of God, a coach and trainer of church leaders,  a church planter and a community organizer.

Ministry Leaders

ICC LEADERSHIP STRUCTURE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Executive Leadership for ICC – there are different types of leadership, but ICC have chosen the Holy Spirit lead leadership, God calling men and women into ministries to lead His people into the land flowing with milk and honey

  1. Five-fold Ministry leaders – those called by God with proven ministry, to be referred as the PRESBYTERY,  Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor and Teachers. Ephesians 4 : 10 – 16

Responsibilities

  • Spiritual leadership and directions of the church rests on the Presbytery
  • Executive Board of the church
  • Spiritual Oversight of the church
  • Lead an exemplary Lifestyle worth emulation
  • Lead the church on that Highway to spirituality
  • Ordain ministers and workers into office

2.  Trustees –  those who have right standing with the church, acting as an advisory group to the Presbytery

Responsibilities –

  • Business affairs of the Church shall be conducted by the Trustees.
  • Custodians of all properties of the church
  • Welfare of the congregation
  • Membership – The Trustees of the Corporation shall be elected individually for a two-year term by the Members during the annual membership meeting. The authorized number of the Trustees shall not be less than five (5), and not more than nine (9). Trustees may serve successive terms.

3.  Church Council   –  Membership

  • Five-fold ministers

  • Ministry leaders

Responsibilities

  • Business making body of the church, directions from the PRESBYTERY will be discussed at the church council for action
  • Ministries of the church shall addressed the council on progress, challenges and the way forward
  • Accountability group, ( the church financial group will be formed here)     a. Purchases for the church                  b. Prepare financial reports for the church
  • Meet three times a year (April, August & December)

The Church Council shall have a Chair and a Vice chair, Secretary, Organizer, Financial Secretary. The chair of the Church Council shall rotate termly through the ministry leadership. In the time as the Men Fellowship takes the chair, the Women’s Fellowship shall take the Vice, as the Women’s Fellowship takes the chair, the Youth shall take the Vice. Youth ministry chair – Children ministry Vice.

  1. Setting up of the Church Council leadership will be done at the assembling of the church council, nomination for the positions of chair, vice chair, secretary and organizer will be voted on.
